The Mommas will play! Great time with the girls before heading home to our families after a very long 8 weeks. Nothing a little wine and good conversation can't cure!

Day 10: Independent
When mommy stood back and continued to take photos while Evie held out her hand for help, Evie decided she didn't need any help. It's a good thing to grow a child who isn't afraid to be independent. Now we just need to work on the listening when mommy tells Evie not to climb the stairs.

Day 6: Flashback
I came across this photo on my computer the other day. I had forgotten all about it. It was taken while visiting our friends in Tennessee back in the Spring of this year. Matt had taken a moment to rock Evie on the front porch during her morning nap. She was about 9 months old.

Day 5: Breakfast of Champions
Grandma and Evie watching cartoons, eating cheerios, and drinking milk (Evie) and coffee (Grandma). That's the life! Can't say I wasen't a little bit jelous. Okay. Alot-a-bit jelous.

Day 3: Momma's Shoes
Evie has a shoe fetish. Already. And likes to sit around and try and put Mommys shoes on her own feet and stand on Daddys flipflops. And if your shoes are laying in the middle of the floor, she'll bring them to you. "Shoes belong in the closet Mommy."

Day 1: Baltimore Fountain
Evelyn had a blast at the fountain at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore! She didn't mind the cold water or the fact that it would tumble down over her head.

Catching up...
For those of you who followed my blog "And Evie Makes 3...", thanks for following me over to my new blog. For those of you who are new, Welcome!!
Just under a year ago I started a blog about my life with my new baby girl, Evelyn, and my husband. Around the middle of March, I stopped posting. It was much easier being a working mom and keeping up with blog posting while Evie was still too young to keep me moving constantly. However, now I don't rest until she is in bed, at which point I usually pass out as well.
I appreciate all of you who followed my blog and those of you who have taken the time in the last 5 months to shoot me an email and tell me how much you miss my blog. It means alot. While life is still just as busy as it was in March, I've decided to pick back up my blog, but with a different format. For now, I'm just going to post a photo a day, with a caption. Maybe eventually it will lead into a full on blog again, but for now, for the sake of spending as much time as I can with my rapidly growing child as I can, this will have to do!
And for those of you who are crossing over from And Evie Makes 3... here is a bit of a catch up!
In March I made my last blog post in which I blogged about the impending Springtime. Well Spring has come and gone, and Summer is half way over. My grandfather (who you may remember from my Thankgiving Day Post) passed away about a week after my last post, hense the abrupt ending of my blog. We miss him very much. Evie has gone from speedcrawling, to walking, to running. She has a mouth full a teeth and new words. Everything is hers, or should I say "mine." We have moved from our apartment into a house, which we are renting, but it's a step in the right direction for us. It's the house my grandmother and grandfather built so it's packed full of memories. Evelyn has since turned 1 and had a wonderful party with lots of friends and family. I was promoted in my job. Somewhat of a step back in becoming the stay at home mom that I want to be, but financially, a step forward. I've been spending the last 6 weeks five hours away from home for training for my promotion. I still have a week and a half more to go. Time can't go fast enough. Matt and I are currently doing the Dave Ramsey plan to rid ourselves of our car payments and student loan debt in order to plan the rest of our lives.
So that's what you missed!
